Gas Purging System

About

Neometrix has developed Gas Purging System for LASTEC, DRDO (New Delhi). It is used to purge the Nitrogen Gas at desired Pressure and flow into the Laser Generating System.
Whole system consists of Following Three Modules-:

  • (a)Gas Manifold: - In this section Nitrogen Gas at Ambient Temperature & High Pressure enters into the system. There are four numbers of Nitrogen Cylinder of capacity 80 liters at 200 bars for supply the Nitrogen in to the Gas Manifold One outlet &one vent line is provided, as explain in drawing no.
  • (b)Mechanical Control Panel (Gas Purging Panel): - After Gas Manifold Section, Nitrogen Gas enters into the Mechanical Control Panel. At High Pressure & Flow where its pressure is reduced up to the desired pressure (Working Pressure) & supply it into the laser Generating System.
  • (c)Automatic Control Panel: - Automatic Control Panel having various control of the System like Pressure, Flow etc. Automatic control panel is controlled by PLC. All related electrical circuit is installed within this Panel. It should be Compact, high speed, and contain power supply unit.

Key Features

  • 1.Gas Manifold: - This system is having a four nitrogen inlet ports and one outlet port with one vent to atmosphere. System is given a continuous supply of pure nitrogen at one end through a cylinder at150 Bar regulated to 2 bar. Pure nitrogen is made available either from industrial cylinders or a small nitrogen generating plant, Nitrogen at 6-10 Bar and a purity level of 99.9%.
  • 2.Gas Purging System:- In This system, All these gases goes into the Filter where it gives filtration up to 0.1 Micron and Pressure of this Gas can be read by pressure gauge. After that this line goes through pressure regulatorWhere Its Regulated up to 20 bar. Further this line is connected to relief valve, this relief valve is set at 8.5 bar, as the pressure exceed the set pressure then its relieve the excess pressure by relief valve.
